I know explicitly the process of transformation.

Transformation is like breathing to me. Navigating the process of transformation is as easy as going to the corner store. And it is my intention to walk with women through the process of transformation - essentially to uncover your own beauty - much like an actor peels away the layers to reveal a place where a character can emerge.

I am a stylist and have those skills, hairstyling, makeup, etc. but those skills are only a vehicle, they are not the point.

The point is driving you home to your own real beauty, your essential beauty which has little to do with hair, make-up, skin care.

It has everything to do with you loving yourself and appreciating yourself and realizing your worth and value in the world.

It has everything to do with you claiming your voice and then claiming your place and then performing your gifts to the world.

My process teaches exactly that AND it uses styling as a first step to engage you in that process.

I have rolled what I learned in my degree Humanitarian Ecology: Relationhsip to Self, Others and the Environment (a lot of theater training) and what I learned from styling into the process of creating beauty everyday.

Beauty with a capital B.

I used styling as a vehicle because as women we do it everyday AND it is the arena where we are dis-empowered so it makes sense that is the area where we stand to regain our power the most efficiently.
