Introduction to the Art of Spiritual Styling

Over the past several blog posts we have been exploring the idea of Beauty with a capital B.  We are going to narrow the scope and begin looking at Human Beauty.  The Art of Spiritual Styling is a method for achieving Real Human Beauty, so I will introduce it now.

The Art of Spiritual Styling teaches women a core body of knowledge that runs deep and broad:  it is called – The Ecology of Beauty:  relationship to self, others and the environment that exalt the mind and spirit.   From that broad and all encompassing view the scope narrows into a very specific set of  instructions which translate that knowledge into a method for creating personal image/style to exalt the spirit in a display of Real Beauty .  The methods are taught using an Authentic Beauty Curriculum (ABC).

As a dominantly visual species we identify heavily with what we see.  So, it makes sense that shifting the way we see ourselves (evenly slightly) and conversely the way that we choose to allow others to see us, has power to launch us into genuinely new territory.  Shift your image, shift your mind…. Through the Art of Spiritual Styling we come to understand that personal image is a symbolic expression of core beliefs, values and operating systems.   While it is absolutely true that every woman is beautiful and perfect just as she is, sometimes it is necessary to leave home to appreciate it upon return.

When a woman is willing to open  core areas of her life  through  an active willingness to “try on” a different  image she is transformed simultaneously at the level of self, in her relationship to others and even her orientation to the world.

For women, this work takes the focus off of efforts associated with trying to achieve physical beauty that is modeled on cultural ideals of perfection and puts the emphasis on the process of creating beauty.
