What is Real Beauty?

Real Beauty is evidence of something magnificent – integral and it is far more than skin deep. Real Beauty holds a high degree of power because it is authentic, pure and inseparable from the character of the woman who radiates it.
Simply defined Real Beauty is beauty that hasn’t been boxed in by static cultural ideals of perfection. Real Beauty is living, free and pure. Everyone has the capacity to embody Real Beauty.
In order to embody real beauty, a woman must be willing to suspend her own preconceptions and beauty dogma in a moment of pause and get curious. She must be willing to delve deep into mysterious territory and explore the intimate folds, contours, smells and textures of that which arouses an exalted state of the mind and spirit. A woman must be willing to be schooled in Beauty… Beauty with a capital “B”… Essential Beauty.

Hi Shannon,
No doubt you will find me more than a little “fixed” in my style, but, I’m definitely working on it. Maybe I need a little push, particularly with my hair. I’m happy with the direction that I’m moving with clothing style, simple, classic but with a modern twist. I just have a hard time finding someone to trust with my hair. I don’t have a clue what would look good on me and be suitable for my hairs texture, my age, etc. Additionally, I want to preserve healthy hair, be able to style it without big hassles, maintain an active live style and not spend big bucks. I’m probably also suffering from post bad stylist syndrome. That’s a story for another day. Love your site sweetie.

Hi Jean,
Let’s do it! I would be happy to work with you on updating a hairstyle that feels fresh and uniquely you. I am happy to hear that shifts are happening in other areas and are feeling good. The same can happen with your hair, even if it feels the scariest. I will book you sometime in June?
By the way, a little change goes a looonnnnngggg way for the FIXED temperament. That is the Beauty of being very fixed….. it doesn’t take much.

Real Beauty to me is more than magazines, commercials, celebrities, and what the media tells us. Today, the people in our world are so fixated on “celebrity” looks and styles. To me, those “celebrity looks” are just so fake. (It’s not real!!!) I wish people could see through the media and know what Real Beauty is. I get so sick of society telling women how to look, dress, do their makeup, their hair etc.. I used to be so caught up in the “celebrity look” that now I don’t even know who I am and am JUST now recognizing and discovering my True, REAL Beauty.
